Hendersonville Theatre’s Act2 Players presents On Golden Pond

Exploring the often turbulent relationship between adult children and parents, and the difficulties a couple faces in the twilight years of a long marriage, On Golden Pond is a heartwarming and hilarious show about generations of a family learning to communicate and care. Ethel and Norman Thayer return to their summer home on Golden Pond for the forty-eighth year. They are visited by their divorced, middle-aged daughter and her dentist fiancé, who then go off to Europe, leaving his teenage son behind for the summer. This classic American comedy/drama is as touching, warm, and witty today as when it debuted on Broadway in 1979.
