The past 18 months have presented some incredibly difficult challenges for the arts community, and especially live theatre. While The Magnetic Theatre has done everything in their power to persevere, they haven’t been able to make ends meet financially.

In order to stay afloat and to keep the theatre open, the Magnetic is launching its first ever crowdfunding campaign. With all the threats the pandemic has presented, one hopeful thing has become extremely clear – our community is the heart and soul of this theatre, and it is because of your generosity that they are able to survive, to pay their artists and to continue to produce original work.

The Magnetic Theatre needs to raise $15,000.00 by October 30th, in order to produce the rest of this season and to continue to thrive going forward. It isn’t going to be an easy road, but with your support, they know they’ll make it to the other side. After more than a decade of creating innovative work by and for this community, they have faith that survival is possible, because they are surrounded by such generous friends.
