I have been designing and developing websites since 2010. To put that into perspective, WordPress was still just a blogging platform at the time and was just in the beginning stages of becoming the Content Management System that it is today. I have built many websites since then and have been both a freelance web designer/developer and a web developer/project manager for two UNC system universities. I have worked on many web projects in the past ten years – From very small to very large projects that took several years to complete.

Outside of sitting at my laptop building websites, I’ve also spent a large part of my career training people how to use their sites. I have created WordPress knowledge bases and conducted in-person trainings for companies, organizations, and universities. I have held trainings for a single person on up to a 50-person class.

I have also had the opportunity to serve as a web consultant for companies and organizations. I have advised on new websites, site redesigns, digital marketing, brand, content, information architecture, and search engine optimization

In addition to my web experience, I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from the University of Hartford, as well as certificates in Digital Marketing and Public Relations, and Project Management from Western Carolina University.
